Pomodoro Focus Timer
A timer app that for practitioners of the Pomodoro Technique. Pomodoro Focus Timer has a minimal design to keep distractions away. It is an effective tool to retain motivation and focus.
Barkeep
Capstone project for Udacity iOS Nanodegree. Barkeep works with an API to pull a library of cocktail drinks where users can view drink ingredients and instructions and save their favourites.

Pomodoro Focus Timer was an app I built to get more experience outside of tutorials and classes. Allowing me to work with and implement features I rarely got to explore in depth. I continually re-visit the project to refactor code and implment new features as my skills improve.
Having used the Pomodoro technique alot while studying and working on projects as a way to control my focus. A Pomodoro Timer was a natural choice when deciding to work on a project of my own. I focused on buiding a timer with a simple design to limit distractions and avoid spending too much time in-app.
Lessons Learned
Localization was not something I had planned for when I began developing the app but was soemthing I decided to implement after analytics showed that a good percentage of my users were located in various non-english regions. With future projects localization is something I will plan for from day one as it will make the process smoother allowing me to offer future apps in more langugaes earlier.

Barkeep was completed to fulfill the requirements of the Udacity iOS Nanodegree.
Barkeep works with TheCocktailDB API to pull a library of cocktail drinks. The API response is then parsed and the results are displayed to the user. Users can then navigate through collection views, table views, and detail screens to see what ingredients and steps are needed to make a particular drink. Users are also able to save their favourites to a seperate list for easy recall.
